As a penultimate team, Alpine presented the Boliding for the upcoming Formula 1 season. With the “A522” the French team goes to the start, Fernando Alonso (Spain) and Esteban Ocon (France) as in the previous year will be the drivers. As a substitute driver, Oscar Piastri will operate, the 20-year-old Australian became 2021 World Champion in Formula 2.
On February 11, Alpine has already presented a new main sponsor. The Austrian company “BWT”, in Formula 1 most recently main sponsor of Racing Point, will adore the name of the team in the future.

Known for “BWT” is the company color pink, which is also reflected on the new Alpine Boldy. Both on the front and rear wings as well as on the side boxes, the Alpine has got a striking pink touch. The basic color is still the usual blue.
Also special: the louvers on and next to the side boxes. Something similar was already at the Aston Martin and on the Ferrari, each team has interpreted the new regulations differently and housed at the car.
Meanwhile, the blue bolide is only used in the third Grand Prix in Australia. The first two races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will complete Alpine with a “BWT” typical bang pink bolides.
